Mrs Garrett was my supervisor at Duke for the many years that I worked there with her. I learned a lot from her about the job, the value of family and friends. I had gone to school with her children and befriended them over the years before I met her. She was a very strong woman of standards and integrity. She was strict but kind and always honest. I adored her and she will truly be missed but never forgotten! 🥲

Sis. Garrett was such a kind person and she always had a smile for you. My sincere condolences go out to the family. May God comfort you today and in the days to come.
