Sis.Martha Legette was my very first ministry of music for our choir during the70s as her husband , the late Willie Legette pastored the First Born Church of the Living God located in Newburgh, NY. I can never remember her being rude or harsh just a sweetly sainted person. May her reward be great in that day when GOD shall reward youπ€
Ps Martha Legette was a wonderful kind and lovely lady. The moment I met her, her smiles reflected the love of Christ. She was so sweet with a beautiful soul. I am glad I will get to see her in heaven one of this days. To family may God comfort and give you strength. Sister Lucy Kenei
Mom Legette- My heart is missing you. I will miss all of the conversations we have had for over 25+ years. I promised you when Sheila passed, I would always stay in contact with you and I did. You were a grandmother to my daughter for so many years. You taught me so many things and inspired me so many times. I will miss you so much. Your love for the Lord was ALWAYS apparent. If there was ever a person I knew would be in heaven, it certainly is you. I love you Mom Legette, today is the day we will celebrate your life on earth. I thank God for blessing me to have you in my life. Rest in peace Mom.

Mother Legette was the name that I called her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I loved her outfits and matching hats. She was one sharp dressing woman along with her beautiful personality. Boy she could play an organ to any song. I'm going to miss you Mother Legette, I will not forget you. Saint Luke Member, Debra Harris l

Martha was a very good and caring person. I will miss her so much.
Pastor Legette recently spoke at our Pastor's Anniversary wearing heels at 81 years old. She was so encouraging and we enjoyed her tremendously. We are so thankful for the love that she demonstrated during our mother and Pastor's illness. We will also miss her playing that organ. It has been such a joy knowing Pastor Legette and the smile that she wore constantly. Pastor Linda Hamilton and St. James Holiness Church Family
