Our deepest sympathy to the Gant and Taylor families. Mrs Mattie was a jewel. She never met a stranger and always had words of wisdom to share. Her love for God, her family, outreach ministry and church was evident as that was her topic of discussion most of the time. She often spoke highly about how awesome her husband and children were to her. Working with her was an absolute pleasure. She would cook the best school meals like only she could, she would always sing original and familiar songs to the students, get them to sleep and teach them various things. Every time we spoke she would ask how the babies at the school was doing. She was considered the school granda. Some called her Mrs Mattie, grandma Mattie and others Mama Mattie. We loved her so much but God loves her best, now she can take her eternal rest from labor to reqard. We will continue to keep her family and friends in our thoughts and prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️ With love and sympathy, Asia and family
I will always remember the fun times we had with each other. Singing songs to the babies and laughing at all the funny stories you would tell me. Your light touched everyone you met. 💜
