Cousin Oren was a multidimensional guy. Musician, song writer, musical writer, and gifted singer. I also note the energy he invested in organizing the family reunions of 20 or more years. His memories of the descendants of Grannie Sookie gave life, and more meaning, to our family's vibrant history, from before the end of slavery to the present day. He deserves to rest in peace.

My condolences to Sandra and the rest of Oren's family. We all grew up together at Community Baptist Church in the Pearsontown Community. We loved his parents and all the family as we all worshiped together and shared in the community.
