Robert Jerome Wright was born on September 9, 1946, and passed away on December 26, 2025. He was raised in Durham, NC and went to Merrick-Moore School. Robert was a lifetime member of the Merrick-Moore community and had many family members and friends in the neighborhood. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching sports, keeping up with politics, listening to blues music and fishing. Robert enjoyed family gatherings. His last employer was Federal Express and he attended Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church until his health failed.

Funeral Service: Friday, January 2, 2026 | Visitation: 11:00 am | Funeral: 12:00 pm.
Place of Service: Holloway Memorial Funeral Home, 2502 NCHwy 55, Durham, NC
Interment: Oak Grove Memorial Gardens
