I'm so saddened to hear of Ron's passing. Ron and I worked at IBM in Gaithersburg MD, back in the day. He was a good man and will be sorely missed.
Heartfelt condolences to Jill and Cooper family for a great friend. Ron my neighbor, classmate, and Soul brother. He loved Christ and the many believers who follow. He is missed . The word says the living keep praising God.
My prayers and sincere condolences go out to the family. Ron, is a dear friend and brother to my blood brother Larry Greene. He sold me my first home. I will always remember Ron for his caring heart and willingness to help others. He will forever be remembered in my heart. May the work he's done and rich legacy he leaves behind forever speak for him.
May God grant you peace, comfort and strength as you navigate this difficult space. 🙏🏾

It was a shock to hear the news of Cooper's passing. A former neighbor in Winston-Salem and a Class of '80 graduate from JCSU. . .his whit and smile will be truly missed. Rest in Heaven.
You and your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers after hearing about your loss. May God give you the strength to endure this pain.
To the Cooper family, One thing I know for sure is that " the Lord is a very present help in the time of need," & " He cares for you!" I am most confident that " we, you, sorrow not even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died & rose again, even so (Cooper) also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For the dead in Christ shall rise 1st: then we which are alive & remain shall be caught up together with ( Cooper) in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: & so shall we ever be with the Lord!" This I truly believe & have much hope that these words bring comfort to your heart as the waves come & go henceforth. Jill, family trust His word. The Lord will not fail you now! So, so sorry for your loss of the love of your life. " Just " look to the hills from whence cometh your help!" Help awaits! God bless, comfort, & keep you in His loving care always! 😘
Sending heartfelt condolences to Jill and the entire Cooper Family.
You were all more like family throughout the years as you all loved and cherished our Mom, Bettie Epps, and she loved and cherished you all.
Peace and Love Samantha, Mikayla, and Mauryce
Ronald and I first became roommates during our freshman year at JCSU. I'm from Pontiac, Michigan, and my father hailed from Winston-Salem. When Ronald heard this, he affectionately called me his "homeboy." Through all these years, Ronald always showed me love and gave me a genuine sense of belonging in his world.
After I left Smith and joined the military, our friendship remained strong. Over the course of more than 40 years, we stayed in constant contact, texting even up to September of this year. Our conversations felt as natural as if we had spoken just the day before.
I am deeply saddened by Ronald's passing. I will truly miss him—his friendship, his kindness, and the acceptance he always extended to me just as I am.
Thank you, Ronald, for being my friend and for the moments we shared. You will always remain in my heart.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:2-3) God has kept his promise, and my "brother" Coop is resting with him. Jill, I continue praying for you and the family.
A kind person who will be missed; he helped many throughout his life. He always placed God, his family, and friends first. There wasn't a soul he wouldn't lend a helping hand to if you needed it.
Our brother, friend, and realtor of more than 30 years. Ron was a man who willingly made sacrifices to support others, a man devoted to his family, his church, and his community. His passing is a tremendous loss for us all. May our eyes and hearts remain focused on God. There are some things we may never fully grasp, but I have learned this all too well: we may not always see the reasons behind the journey of life, yet our job is always to place our trust in our Heavenly Father. Sending Love and Support to Jill and the Family!
We have heard and kept up with your family for about 40 years now. Ronald was a classmate we could depend on especially about our finances. Most of us have repeated these words, soft spoken, full of questions, kind, dependable and just there in the background checking things out. Jill thank you for sharing him with us. We truly enjoyed our May 45th reunion weekend at JCSU. We will miss our friend and classmate. JCSU class of 1980
