My condolences to this family. The death of a loved one is never easy to cope with. However, Gods word the Bible gives us a wonderful hope for the future. John 11:25 promises there will be a resurrection of the ones who have fallen asleep in death. I hope this promise brings you some comfort and strength. - Psalms 83:18
