Ms. Ruby Jewel Parker Christmas was a jewel indeed! Ms. Ruby took care of our three kids at her daycare and the loving care that she gave our kids was beyond extraordinary. We knew "Ms. Ruby" loved our babies as well as every child that was entrusted into her care! Even when our kids became adults, Ms. Ruby would ask about them and their well-being. These days, you don't find daycare providers, family, or friends like "Ms. Ruby"- people who have a heart for others. This world needs more people like "Ms. Ruby!" Preston and Ashley, thank you for sharing your precious mom with us. You have our sincerest condolences. Please know that we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers for God's peace and love to saturate you completely now and in the days to come.

I remember the times I would drive Ruby home from church & we would have the best conversations. She would always tell me to stay true to myself & to God. It doesn't matter what anybody else has to say, they not walking in my shoes. As long as God is with me that's all that matters. I Love You FOREVER for those words & for loving my girls like your own.
I met Ruby back in the early 70's when her mother, Ms. Fannie moved to N. Hyde Park Avenue. Ruby always had a big smile on her face when I saw her in passing, and she was kind to those that knew her. I send my condolences and prayers to her family during this difficult time.

Ruby was a caring and loving person. Thirty years ago my grandson attended her Day Care she ran out of her home on Benning St. Years later, whenever we met at the mall or a church event we talked and laugh like it was yesterday when we saw each other. My deepest sympathy to the Parker, Christmas and Holloway families.
Ruby will be missed by all. However, I will always remember our days growing up like sisters rather than cousins. I have seen only one other person whose faith in God was as strong as Ruby's. That was my mom. She never gave up hope for a healing. She now has it as she rests with the father. May God comfort us all with His grace and mercy. Sandra Philpott-Burke
To the family, she will be truly missed. She was always thoughtful, supportive, and caring...Daryl and Dalton Brunson
Ms. Ruby gave herself flowers while she lived. When you looked at the corner of Mutual Court and Atlantic St, you knew that was Ruby's corner. She was the neighborhood mother in Mutual Heights, and my grandsons knew whose house to go to if I wasn't home. Condolences to her family in this great loss. Love and prayers from Valeria, Shakel and Dalton Hannah.
It was an honor to know and love Ruby, whose strength and resolution, endurance and perseverance, together with her resolution to fight was magical to observe. Ruby was dedicated and devoted to all of her beloved family, and we fell in iove with her dynamic, vibrant smile which demonstrated her love of everyone around her. Her cherished presence lives on in our hearts. Much love to Ruby's beloved family at this difficult time, vince and teri

Thanking God for her vibrant spirit and love for God. Bold as a lion but harmless as a dove. May God strengthen and keep her Family especially her grannies in all things. She smiled at God, the Father, and He winked indicating it's okay to come on home! Surely you're at peace in His presence! Until we meet again at that great reunion in Heaven...Evangelist Gloria Irvng, Stand Ministries Inc.
