Ashley Amanda Grieves was born on January 25th, 1990 in Newark, New Jersey. She attended Linden High School and graduated from West Side High in Newark in 2008. She made her peaceful transition on June 26th, 2021. She was the loving mother of Joshua and Josiah Brown. She grew up in the city of Linden, New Jersey where she met her Fiancee Joshua Brown. In her thirty-one she worked several occupations most recently she was employed at Union County Social Services but, her most rewarding job was that of Mother. Ashley was preceded in death by her Mother Stevonne Martin. She leaves to cherish her memory her Fiance, Joshua Brown and their children Joshua and Josiah Brown, Nurturing Mother, Rhashonna Cosby, Siblings, Taijher Cosby, Bilal Rhashon Cosby-Revelle, Derrick-Charles Cosby-Hurling, Charisse-Catherine Cosby-Hurling, Father Brian Grieves, along with a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children and special friends There will be private family funeral services held on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 followed by a public memorial service at 2pm - 4pm at the JTG Center. 330 Helen St Linden, NJ 07036 Flowers may be sent through Charlie's flowers in Linden 908-486-0070

Having known the family for years, I remember when Ashley was born. She was the light of the family and a very special girl. My heart breaks for her boys.
