Marilyn was a pillar in the 13th Street Neighborhood She made sure the children when going back to school had supplies she initiated bus rides for the children as well as the adults She started the 13th Street Block Association made sure proper permits was in place She offered advice wisdom to all, Marilyn was my Childhood Friend I will never forget the Precious Memories.My other Childhood Friend Connie Marilyn we shared evenings meeting on Connie's porch,we shared Laughter are such good times MarilynWas hilarious Marilyn will forever remained in my Heart a true Friend, Rest In Heaven Our Angel, Our 13th Street Village 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Ms. Nelson was a true pillar in her community and at the NJDCA. Her leadership, compassion, mentoring, friendship, dedication and smile will never be forgotten. Rest in peace our beloved Marilyn
