Muriel C. Reed

Dean Reed's influence on my life cannot be overstated. Not only did she interview me for admission to graduate school, but she also left an indelible mark on my life. Her outward beauty was a true reflection of her inner beauty, and I am forever grateful for all that she imparted. Please know that my prayers are with you during this difficult time, and I pray that you are comforted in knowing that Dean Reed's good work lives on in me and countless others...she remains a true blessing!

Professor Reed interviewed me for admission in 1989 and she is the one responsible for seeing my potential and admitted me Provisionally to the Program. I thank her for this 35 years later and I'm now a part of a School of Social Work Field team. My prayers for comfort as you continue and celebrate the life of this amazing woman.
