Walter Woodridge was born January 8, 1943, and departed this life September 17, 2024.
Walter was a Class 1st Machinist, Tool and Die Maker and Auto mechanic. He loved working with his hands, drawing, boxing, and repairing items.
One of his proudest moments is sparring with Muhammad Ali. Walter was considered as the protector of the family; he also gave advice whether you wanted it or not. (IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW)
Walter is predeceased by Robert Woodridge, Steven Ford, Linda Weston, and Dianne Ford-Anderson.
Walter Is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Lorraine Estella Woodridge, his sisters, Rosalind Woodridge, Lois Britton and Peggy Chardone, his children, Vedia, Shannon, Jamal, Watrice, Walter J., and niece/daughter Monica, 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
