Mr. Billy Thomas Miller, Jr. passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2024 at the age of 58. He was born on November 28, 1965 to his mother Shirley Foster Miller and father, Billy T. Miller, Sr.
Billy graduated from Boiling Springs High School. While at Boiling Springs, Billy enjoyed football more than the classroom. At the junior high level, Billy earned the All-Conference Defensive Lineman award in 1980 and The Best Offensive Player in 1980-81. When he moved to the high school, Billy continued to be a valuable part of the football family.
Our family is devastated by Billyโs unexpected passing. His death is a huge loss for all of us and he will be forever missed. While a man of few words, Billy always seemed to know how to make you feel special. He was born with a heart of gold and a sense of humor that included an uncanny ability to make you laugh at yourself. He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand when needed and has probably help move everyone in the family at least once.
Being a true Southern boy, Billy was a big outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tinkering with his lawn mower. For the past 20 years, Billy has run a lawn service in the Upstate, caring for the lawns of countless customers, family members, neighbors and friends. Billy worked a variety of jobs, including various manufacturing plants in the Upstate, the Department of Corrections, and at the Mercedes Plant in Charleston. Lest we forget, Billy enjoyed a good meal, especially with those he loved.
Billy was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Jean, father, Billy T. Miller, Sr; and mother, Shirley Foster Miller, losses he carried with him. Billy leaves behind his beloved son, Brian Thomas Edgar Miller; sister, Karen Miller (Sterling); brothers, Richard โRickโ Peak, Darren Butler; sisters, Alisa Peak, Ella Walker; special niece, Kalin Miller; great-nephew, Legend Miller; and a long list of deeply-saddened aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
We can all find solace in knowing he is now reunited with his mom, whom he loved dearly. What a joyous reunion it must have been for them both!
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeville Baptist Church, Inman, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Prayers and blessings From DeShawn Salley and Gregory Easterling
This man lost his life due to a lack of trained first responders. With AED machines throughout the facility... there was none used to help Billy as he lay on the ground at his work station... the key to a successful lawsuit is questioning why was there no AED used . Wrongful death. Please don't settle for small money.
My condolences to the family. May you find comfort knowing that God is with you in these difficult times. My Brother and I truly are going to miss Billy. Love you all, Butch Cannon and Paulette Jones๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ

Oh my!!! Billy T was one of my BEST FRIENDS EVER IN HIGH SCHOOL!! That goofy smile and his innocent laugh kept me going many many days! We had typing together right after he had home economics- I would do his typing and he would sit on the back of class and eat whatever he found in home ec!! Billy was an absolute big teddy bear, I saw him years ago at a gas station and he hugged me and we laughed together...the only memories I have of him are GREAT ONES!! Love you big man!! ๐ข
