We first met at Cleveland Jr High, we became friends,and moved on to SHS, Our friendship hit a few bumps, but we still shared lots of laughs, just being around you was fun. I remember like it was yesterday that you were one of the first people to truly welcome me to SHS when I started there in the 11th grade. My transition was hard but from the very beginning, you showed me kindness and a friendship that made a great difference in my life. Your warm smile and generous heart brought comfort and joy to everyone around you.

I will always cherish the memories of our time together. Your spirit and positivity was infectious, and you made my Junior and Senior year feel like I had been with you guys from the beginning...you helped make me feel at home. I am forever grateful for your friendship and the love you shared so freely.

My heart is truly broken. Renée was an amazing woman with a beautiful heart and smile. I worked with her so many years ago at Wendy's. She always encouraged and motivated me to finish my education because she was big on education. I admired and loved her even when she gave me tough love. My prayers are with you family. Renee and I first met in 1988 after one of my friends was in a car accident and she was his nurse in neuro. In 1989 I took a job in respiratory and we often worked with same patients so we saw each other very often until I moved to Columbia in 1994. In 2002 we both had boys and when they got to middle school they and 4 other boys became best friends and graduated together. Today all 6 are still brothers and best friends and Renee's home is where they spent most of their time when they would all get together. We never worried about them and she always took care of them and loved them like they were her own. We will all miss her dearly but thank God for all the years God allowed us to know and be in her presence. May God continue to bless Nick and Mrs. Martha and all her family. We love you Nicholas and Mrs. Martha!

Ten years ago, Mrs. Renee assisted me with my 3 year old son at church when he had a seizure. I was at a loss of what to do, but she took him and went straight to work. I will forever be grateful for her quick and knowledgeable response. The news of her passing greatly saddened me but knowing where she is and WHO she's at rest with brings me joy.
