Alphonso L Hubbard sent Beautiful Dreams for Joe L. Thompson - May 21, 2024
Alphonso and Irmgard Hubbard and family send our deepest condolences to the Family of Joe Thompson, our friend and beloved cousin! May Joe rest in eternal peace!
Today our cousin Joe Thompson will be laid to rest. Please keep the Thompson family in your prayers. As he will truly missed as he believed in family so let us remember him and his immediate family. Like, His Wife, His Children, Grandchildren, His Brother George Thompson and Cousins. Let's remember him with prayers and support today! I have a memory that I want to share. We came to Augusta , Georgia for a road trip. Our vehicle broke down and Cousin Joe Thompson lent us a hand. As he rescued my brothers, my children and I as my brother vehicle broke down. He helped us until our vehicle was back on the road again. As we head back to Lexington, SC. That was the type of man he was and we will forever be grateful for his kindness he showed us that day.

I had the pleasure to get to know Joe in the realm of officiating basketball on Fort Gordon. Joe's personality was larger than life and whose smile and laughter could light up a room. He was kind and considerate gentle giant who will be missed by all who knew him. May the fond memories of loving times shared help ease the sorrow in the hearts of his family and friends. All who had the privilege of crossing paths in life with Joe were better for it and he will be missed by all. In deepest sympathy. Les Stahl and Family
I've known Joe Thompson since being stationed with him at Germesheim, Germany. Served with him at Desert Shield & Storm. After the war served with him at Ft. Gordon, Ga. Also was an umpire with him or keeping score at Post Basketball / Softball seasons. Rest in Peace Joe Thompson. Prayers to the Thompson Family.
