To Stanley, Chris, and the entire family,

My deepest love and sympathy are with you as we honor the beautiful life of our beloved Barbara. Though she was my mother's niece, she was truly like a sister and daughter to our family. Living next-door to my parents for so many years, Barbara became a steady and trusted presence in all our lives. She supported my mother and father with unwavering loyalty, love and strength- especially in their final days- and for that, we will always be grateful.

Barbara was a private woman, but if you were blessed to be in her inner circle, you knew her incredible loyalty, wisdom and reliability. She offered wisdom and perspective you could count on- and love you could feel.

Even though I didn't get to spend as much time with her in recent years, I thought of her often and will forever hold my memories of her close.

To her beautiful grandchildren, to Chris, and to Stanley- please remember that I am here for you, always just a phone call away.

A Memory of My Dear Friend

We grew up together on Charlene, sharing late nights sitting outside, laughing, talking, and creating the memories that shaped our childhood. You stood by my side as the maid of honor in my wedding, and I will always treasure that honor and your love.

I remember when Christopher was born, and how your eyes lit up with pride and joy. Even as life moved us into adulthood, our friendship never faded—we remained connected by love, sisterhood, and years of shared moments.

I will forever be grateful that just minutes before God called you home, you reminded me of your love. That final gift will stay in my heart always.

Rest peacefully, my friend. You are reunited with Ms. Zell now, wrapped in eternal peace.
