WASHINGTON, Mr. Freddie, a former resident of Tuskegee, AL, passed August 6, 2026, at Heritage Hospice and Palliative Care in Marietta, GA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Washington Chapel A.M.E. Church, Tuskegee Institute, AL, Rev. Trevor Woolridge, Pastor, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Interment will be held in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, Marshel's Wright-Donaldson Funeral Home, directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Washington will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Freddie and Mrs. Ernestine Washington were truly engaged in outstanding service at Washington Chapel AME Church. They are truly missed. Our greatest sympathy to their daughters, their families and extended family. I pray you find comfort in knowing Mr. Washington served his country and his community with distinction. His service will forever be appreciated.
