Carolyn Thomas was born September 2, 1954 to Rosa Allen Thompkins and the late Robert Thompkins (deceased) in Belle Glade, Florida.
Carolyn (Kitty Kat) was a product of Broward County Schools system, where she later became a dedicated and fully committed employee of Broward County Public Schools Transportation Department for more than 30 years.
Our Mother, “Kitty Kat” took her flight on Friday, February 8, 2019 with her family and close friends by her side in Lauderhill, FL. We thank God for lending her to us for these precious years.
As a single mother, Carolyn raised a son and daughter to be a God-fearing, compassionate, respectful, and successful. She always provided endless love, care and consistent encouragement. She was also the ultimate peacemaker. Kitty Kat was a marvelous soul, who lived a life full of fun and love for her family and friends. Every life she came in contact was touched with her contagious smile and warm, caring spirit. She would do anything for anyone who was in need.

Allen of Lauderhill, FL and Jessie Hunter of Belle Glade, FL; three nephews and four nieces; a devoted and special friend, Willie Butts of Dothan, AL; former daughter-in-law, Feona Mathis Monroe; best friend, Wendy Anderson and a host of cousins, sorrowing friends and former colleagues.
