I only found out days ago about Lashonda's passing. Lashonda was truly a God send. Lashonda was there for my family and she constantly went above and beyond to make sure my father received the best care possible. We kept in touch for years even when my farher left the country and our last conversation she was exited to start her mext phase after overcoming her battle. She will always stand out to me as one of the few genuine people I met. Sincere condolences to her family from the Drayton family in Barbados.

I was Lashonda's brow artist. She would come in with her laptop (still on the clock 😂) and just be full of positive energy. And we would just talk and laugh (real loud). The last time we spoke, she was telling me how the family wanted her to start eating better and was totally against it because she LOVE real food! But decided to do it anyway. I had no idea of her passing until last night. And my heart is just broken. I want to say to her mom, I am so sorry for your loss. She talked about you on every single visit, you two were true best friends! Thank you for bringing such a beautiful light into this world. Rest well Lashonda💚

Hello. My name is Michelle Adams. I met Lashonda when we first started acting together back in 2007. We were in a funny stage production together with Tammy Parker. When she came in the door she sat next to me and we immediately starting talking. She told me that it was her birthday Jan 7. I screamed because I said that's my daughters birthday as well. We laughed and rehearsed for months. We always sat next to one another. We would talk outside for hours after rehearsal. Lashonda had a very funny role and she blossomed in that production. She created her character and caught us all by surprise! I mean supper funny! We went on to do another play called One Day Too Late with director Misty. We toured to different states and had a great relationship back then. Unbeknownst to me, I read a friend's Facebook and received the heartbreaking word about Lashonda's passing. I am truly sorry for the absence of Lashonda's presence on this earth. She was such an inspiration to me. To have met someone like Lashonda is to know that there is a heaven! She is so safe. She was the epitome of a righteous woman of God. To know that a family exist like Lashonda's family is proof that there is a God. As difficult as this is, and the road will be difficult, I pray that Jehovah gives you strength and comfort. She is a GEM. MOM, I pray for you. She always told me how close you two are. I remember she kept your car and drove it after our play one day. I said wow this is a nice car! To have that bond is so special. You are an amazing Mom for raising and instilling in Lashonda values. She represented obedience and light whenever she appeared. I will definitely remember her and keep her in my heart ❤️ 🙏🏻❤️

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Jones family. Lashonda was such a joy to work with at Cobb DFCS. Her smile and sweet spirit was so radiant and infectious. We will miss her dearly. May God bless you with strength and comfort in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Please take care.

Words can't express my sympathy to her mom, her family & friends. She was the epitome of an ANGEL on earth. 😫😫I was saddened to hear the news of this beautiful Queen... I met her at a Spa I worked at, she was shooting a couple of scenes for one of her movies ...We struck up a conversation and hit it off immediately.. especially our birthdays are two days apart ... Our connection was so cool that she asked me to be apart of one the scenes and I was Soooo EXCITED!!! i've never done this before !🤩🤩 I JUMPED AT THE OPPORTUNITY!! Lashonda had a captivating smile that can light up a room ! She was Beautiful in the inside and out ! Her Talent and gifts will be miss 😫😫🙏🏾🙏🏾 God help her family through this most difficult time.

I will always Remember my friends beautiful Smile and infectious laugh. We worked together at DFCS and she was always so helpful and even though the clients we dealt with were difficult at times, Shon always knew how to turn it into a positive.
