Oh my heart is broken, I hadn't even heard of Mama Laura's passing! I have Loved her ever since I was a little girl when I first met her, she became a part of our family! On every trip back home I always went to see her, and we always had a nice long visit! On my last visit she told me on my next visit she was going to give me her Red Velvet Cake recipe. Now I will never get it!! That woman made the best cakes and food I have ever tasted! I will miss seeing her on my visits to Meigs! RIP my dear Sweet Mama Laura, you have taken care of so many people in your Lifetime and now it is time for you to Rest with our Heavenly Father! Fly High My Sweet Angel!!! My Prayers are With her Son & Family!!

Mama Laura brought another family into my life. My sweet dear sister Linda, Bug, Wayne, Britt, and my son by another mother, Aj. I have loved this family as my own and mourn the loss of our great matriarch, but what rejoicing is going on in heaven! Lulu and Mama together . I'm not sure the heavens will be able to contain the laughter and joy those two will be doing now that they are reunited. I will forever cherish her memory and will love her family always. Your white daughter, Cha
