Alfreda L. Hazel Lawson, 79 a native of Beaufort, NC passed Saturday, May 3, 2025 in Greensboro, NC.
Viewing will be 1:30 PM., to 2:15 PM., Friday, May 9, 2025, in the sanctuary and the family will receive friends in Purvis Chapel AME Zion Church Fellowship Hall.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM., Friday, May 9, 2025 at Purvis Chapel AME Zion Church. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Stefanie Lawson, Greensboro; brother, John Hazel, Knightdale; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Stephanie and Johnny, we are very sorry for the loss of your Mom/Sister. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. She was a kind-hearted and generous person, always ready to lend a helping hand. We hope can find solace that she lived a life full of love and touched many lives. We shared lots memories over the many, many, many years.
