Now the power that has planned this experience for us is God, and He has given us His Spirit as a guarantee of its truth. This makes us confident, whatever happens. We realize that being "at home" in the body means that to some extent we are "away" from the Lord, for we have to live by trusting Him without seeing Him. We are so sure of this that we would really rather be "away" from the body (in death) and be "at home" with the Lord.
That's why we live with such good cheer. You won't see us drooping our heads or dragging our feet! Cramped conditions here don't get us down. They only remind us of the spacious living conditions ahead. It's what we trust in but don't yet see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the road or rocks in the path are going to stop us? When the time comes, we'll be plenty ready to exchange exile for Homecoming /Homegoing Celebration,
There is no doubt that we live with a daring passion, but in the end we prefer to be gone from this body so that we can be at home with the Lord.
Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8
Reverend Donna Dove Associate Minister St. Augustus AME Zion Church

Our condolences to Bishop Scott and the entire family. You all are in our prayers. I don't know if you remember us or not, we remember you all. I remember the first time I meet you all it was in Germany at JWOC. I loved Pastor Scott Afro. It was in great sadness to hear of her passing. The word tells us, we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord 2 Cor. 5:8.
The Davis Family
My sincere condolences to Bishop Scott and the entire family who are forever our family (Lovely Family). As I sit back and reflect of the many times we worshiped and served together in Germany all I can do is smile in the midst of it all. By way of the military and Germany God allowed us to cross paths and have a life long relationship. Some people are put in our lives for a season and others are for life. Pastor Angie you and your family was just that to us. I remember the seed you placed in our baby boy (Andre's) life. While in the bookstore at Jesus World Outreach Center, Heidelberg, Germany, at age 3 yrs old he cried for a bible that he could not yet read, but you and Bishop purchased that Bible which he still has and remembers. He's now 30 yrs old and serving in church! I thank God for an amazing Woman of God, Wife, Mother, Friend and Prayer Warrior/Partner. Gonna miss those calls when you would call, (which was always on time), and ask, "Hey Sis, you was on my heart, just was calling to see how you are doing?" However, through all of this, although there may be times when I cry because I miss my friend and prayer partner, I will rejoice knowing that you are in His presence, because to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! Rest in peace my dear Sister! Love you forever and always. Thinking on the good things. To the Scott Family we love you all! Your friend Angela Lovey (Eddie, Andre, Eric, Jamil (deceased)
My prayers and condolences go out to the family and church family. She was an amazing WOG. She will be missed by many.
Sending my deepest sympathies to Angela's family. May the lord continue to comfort and keep her loved ones during this difficult time. May she rest in heavenly peace.
To the Scott and Meyers family, you have my deepest sympathy. While I worked in New Bern, the Myers' household was my home-away-from-home. Angie's mom and I were the best of friends. I got a chance to enjoy Angie and observe her as she embraced her Christian journey. What a joy and inspiration she was to me and her family. In her new walk she was about her Father's business. She embodied the godly principles she taught. She was filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control: all the fruit of the spirit. Angie was a true woman of God. Her spiritual influence will be missed. Her earthly journey has now ended. She's now resting in the bosom of her Heavenly Father. Thank God for a life well lived. Julia Jones Squires
Pastor Angie you will always hold a special place in my heart. You would always refer to me as Kim's favorite cousin. Anytime I attended church you always had a hug and a smile for me. You will be greatly missed by all. God has certainly gained another great Angel.

My condolences to the Scott and Meyers family.
Pastor Angie, There are not enough words to express just how great of a woman she really was. Her unwavering faith in God and her love for people inspired me. She was my spiritual mom who taught me how to have a relationship with God and His son, Yeshua the Christ. Pastor Ronald and Angela Scott took me and my three children under their arms and welcomed us in the family of faith (Born Again Ministries). It was there that I learned so much about faith and building upon the foundation of Christ. It didn't matter what time of the day or night, when I called out to her, or needed her, she was there. Her small still voice would calm every storm, as she whispered in my ear, "for God did not give you the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind!" then she whispered, "For I know the plans that I have for you; plans to prosper you, and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Pastor Ronald, Kennetta, Krystal, KieVonne, Kenneth and family thank you so ever much for allowing us to share such a great mother and friend. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Our Mother is resting in the arms of Jesus now. No more pain, no more tears. I love you forever! (Your daughter in the faith!! Michelle Fields) & Cal Fields.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. We extend our deepest sympathies. May God strengthen ALL of you doing this difficult time π Blount/ Fernandez family
When Tried By Fire Inc., began to build My Sister's House, Pastor Angela, Bishop Ronald, and the wonderful congregation of Refreshing Lives Church, were instrumental in making their presence felt. Pastor Scott encouraged me personally to never stop moving forward in serving others and that she was proud of the work that our organization was doing. Her grace, poise, smile, and wisdom will be forever engrained in my leadership style. A jewel in the Kingdom she will forever be!
To say we're shocked and surprised by the passing of Angela. To be absent from the body is to be present with The Lord, and there is no doubt that you are now resting in HIS Arms. Our sincere condolences to the family.
Rest in peace Angela I've known you for along time and you have always been a beautiful person π

This seems so unreal! Words cannot express exactly what I am feeling. Momma Angela is truly an Angel. Her Hebrew name speaks entirely to who she was as a mom, sister, aunt, wife, friend; a divine messenger. No matter how she felt she always had a smile in her words, a pep in her step, and an inspiring message for you. Our world was so much better with you in it mommy. We love you so much! In Latin, the name Angela means Messenger of God. That name resonated with the life Angie was destined to live. It was not chosen lightly and she lived her life accordingly. Through wisdom, Angie encouraged everyone to be the best version of themselves, to care for their heath, to love fearlessly. She touched, empowered, joined, and comforted, more lives than she will ever know. It's that legacy that will build and repair families for generations to come. To the family, you have my deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences as you navigate through the grief and loss. May the acts of kindness, sincere prayers, and words of compassion comfort you.
With love and prayers Wanda
In Latin, Angela means Messenger Of God. It's a name she was destined to live before she was born, and the name describes best, how she lived by the lives she touched, comforted, joined, empowered, and inspired.
To the family, you have my deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences as you grieve and process this great loss. You are held in prayers for patience, comfort, wisdom, and love care for one another.

Bishop Ron & family, we are without words but nothing catches God by surprise! We loved Pastor Angie so much and she was such a dear friend to so many; she always shared and showed the love of Christ. We will miss her, but God called and she answered. God bless you all as you go through these days of bereavement. I know it will not be easy, but trust God and he will see you through it. Lord Jesus, this is a hard one, I'm lost for words. We loved Angie and share so many fond memories. Through her wisdom, we learned so much. Our lives will never be the same without her. Ronald, what can we say except we will be there for you, you know you are truly loved. To her beautiful children, siblings and entire family, God loved her too. He loaned that beautiful soul to you for a little while and I know your lives will never be the same without her. Find solace in those memories that she made with all of you. She was Mom like none other; hold onto those precious memories. To God be the Glory for we know not the time, the day, nor the hour, we cope as best as we can, knowing he will always be there to get us through. We love all of you.
I pray for you, Bishop, and your family, as you go through this difficult time. May the same God who has welcomed Pastor Angie into his presence now comfort you in your grief. Paul tells us that three things remain: faith, hope, and love. Pastor Angie was an example of all three, and her legacy calls us to follow in her footsteps. May God strengthen you, comfort you, and give you peace during this difficult time. I love you much, Leigh Nolan ππ½β€οΈ
