I remember when I first came up here to Brooklyn , you had corrected me when I called you by your name. You said I'm not your sister I'm your Mother. From that day I have be always called you Mother . When I was 15 , you took me to the transit hall to a dance. You told me I'd better dance, you through I was going to hug the wall , that's when you learned how much I loved dancing . Now I have two left feet . Mother I love you with all my heart, & will surely miss you. Rest In Peace . God bless you. Muriel

Aunt Annie you are a treasure! As a young adult your home was my second home. Always there for me; the cool aunt that I could laugh with.... dance with.... joke with...chill with. I loved your enthusiasm for life, infectious smile, warm embrace and love of mankind. You loved me to my soul. Always offered kindness and lovingly greeted Marcus with hugs and kisses. Welcoming and kind you embraced Gary as a part of the family. How lucky we were. How blessed we have been. Everyone who was fortunate enough to cross your path will miss you..as will we. A poem for you:
~ Your Spirit I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new. I know that no matter what You will always be with me. When life separates us I'll know it is only your soul Saying goodbye to your body But your spirit will be with me always. When I see a bird chirping on a nearby branch I will know it is you singing to me. When a butterfly brushes gently by me so care freely I will know it is you assuring me you are free from pain. When the gentle fragrance of a flower catches my attention I will know it is you reminding me To appreciate the simple things in life. When the sun shining through my window awakens me I will feel the warmth of your love. When I hear the rain pitter patter against my window sill I will hear your words of wisdom And will remember what you taught me That without rain trees cannot grow Without rain flowers cannot bloom Without life's challenges I cannot grow strong. ~ Your memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part God has you in His keeping I have you in my heart
Love always, Pier, Gary and Marcus

Grandma, You have welcomed me into your home on more occasions than I care to admit. I can still see your surprised smile and opening arms when I walk through the door! So many fond memories. I will treasure. Andre
Aunt Annie you will be truly missed. Enjoyed your long telephone chats and your laughter. We could rely on the family get togethers and the food at your house. Loved your hugs and kisses. Your gentle warmth and greetings at your door. You always had a passion for people and would ask when will I see you again. Well we will see one another again in God's House. Rest in Paradise. Love you Jackie
Today my grandmother is being laid to rest... There are not enough words to express the support and love that we shared. I take comfort in knowing that all that she gave to me and Taliya I was fortunate enough to be able to give it back. When her father came for her I was not sad because I knew that it was time and she would be at peace... Grandma, I love you with all of my heart and will celebrate your life until we see each other again!!!
Sis. Green served at Friendship Baptist for over 50 years providing for the community and the church membership. Her smile and keen senses has been missed. We thank God for her faithfulness and loyalty to the church, community and her family. May God keep His loving arms around you as you move into the new year. Travel safe and if there's anything we can do at Friendship, please let us konw. You're in Christ, Rev. Craig B. Gaddy Sr.
We know she left a deep space in our hearts and souls. But we also know, she just transcended to a higher plane, God's Kingdom. We will miss her dearly. I love you Grandma Annette. I still remember spending holidays with the family, you always wore your church hats with such style! I love you and know you are with our family every step of the way. Naqi and Maria Cruz.
