Obituary For Belvin Johnson Midgette
Belvin “Bel Rae” Johnson Midgette, 91, of Historic James City Community, New Bern, NC passed Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday September 18th & 19th from 4:00- 7:00 PM. Viewing at Oscar's Mortuary from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday and at the Church Saturday from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM.
Her Funeral Service is 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Undenominational Pentecostal Holiness Church 801 Hwy. 70 East, James City. The interment will follow at Meadows Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Linda Daugherty, New Bern, Dexter Midgette, (Gwendolyn) Virginia Beach, VA, Lincoln Midgette, Jr., New Bern, Sharal Reed, Winston Salem, Pamela Golden (Benny) and Beverly Bowman, of New Bern; brother, Sheldon Johnson (Theresa) Baltimore, MD; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
