His Service is 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 12, 2026 St. John M. B. Church 1130 Walt Bellamy Drive, New Bern. The Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Bernard W. White Sr. and Dorothea Downing White of New Bern; son, Bernard Wesley White III, Charlotte, NC; daughter, Aeacia Mahogany White, Charlotte, NC; two grandchildren; one brother, Charlie White, Greensboro, NC; two sisters, Sudie Bernadette White Spence and Tracy Elaine White both of Durham, NC.

It is difficult to find words to express the depth of feeling in my heart at the transition of Bernard. I watched him and his siblings grow up during our years at St. John.
