Obituary For Brian Gerod Williams
Brian Gerod Williams, 68, a native of New Bern, passed Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Brook Stone Living Center, Pollocksville.
Gerod is survived by his siblings, William “Pop” Garrison (Gloria) Brooklyn, NY; Janice Garrison Jennings (George) Greenville, Robin Garrison (Alice) Bayboro; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

I am shocked and surprised to hear of Brian's passing. I had been to see him at the nursing home and talked to him on the phone. I did not realize how sick he must have been. He lived in the group home facility next door for a number of years. He and I became friends. We also served on the same committee for Monarch for several years. He was a good man and will dearly be missed, Millard Godwin
