Bryson Odell Minor, 5, of New Bern died Sunday October 1, 2023 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

His service is 11:00 AM Friday at Star of Zion M. B. Church 701 Miller St. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Mykayla Coplon of the home; father Anquan Minor of New Bern; sisters, Kassydi Bolds, Dynasty Minor, Harmony Minor, Aidyn Coplon, Emorie Everett, Nyla Coleman; maternal grandparents, William Coplon and Tracy Bunting; maternal great grandfather, Willie Canady; paternal grandparents, Barbara Minor and David Garfield; aunts, Katrina Minor, Katrina Spencer, Bre’Ayna Dixon, Shameka Coplon and Lakendra Coplon; uncle, Demetrius Ward; special cousin, Nasia Bryant.
