Carl E. Carter. 67 a native of the Harlowe Community, Havelock, NC, passed at his residence Friday, August 11, 2023.
His funeral service is 1:00 PM, Friday, August 18, 2023 at Piney Grove AME Zion Church, Temples Point Rd., Havelock. The interment will follow at the Carl E. Carter Cemetery.
Carl is survived by his wife, Christine Brown Carter; sons, Carl E. Carter and Justin Frazier; sisters, Nellie Carter and Birdie Stanley; and six grandchildren.

I met him while I was working at the port after seeing the scrap wood they would have left over I asked if I could get some from them he was so helpful when I would show up having a few of the longshoremen help me . I always looked forward to seeing him with a friendly smile and wave . I send prayers of comfort and strength as your family goes thru this difficult time .
