Carlos D. Martin An extraordinary man in many ways ....... Something that will always resonate in my heart about Carlos Carlos was one that always gave people a chance ....... He gave opportunities to people that really just needed a chance, an opportunity to work and better themselves. He not only took them into his place of business, he took them into his heart he made them feel like family. Was he soft ...?

Not at all .... Carlos was a warm, friendly person, with a heart of gold however, he had a tough side. He would let you know it when it was necessary .... He only pushed you to be better and never, ever give up .... No matter how tough the times were.

He was truly loved by all of his employees, his 'Sonic Family' the very people that he gave the chance that they needed .......

The reason I know this, is because; one person that Carlos gave a chance to, was my son, Thomas ......

I remember one evening, when I saw Carlos outside working I said to him, 'Carlos, thank you for giving Thomas a chance to work here' ...... Carlos responded by saying with his big, warm smile ... 'Thomas adds the spice here' ....... We are all saddened by the lost of such a great, warm, kind person .......

Carlos, there will never be another you .......
