Miss Carolyn was an important part of our family for so long. She was so thoughtful and never missed a chance to keep us in delicious pound cakes or check on our Mother. Our Love for her will never fade - The Chesnutt family

Ms. Carolyn was part of my village (from St. Peter 𝔸𝕄𝔼ℤ). I remember staying with her (babysitter) when mom & I first moved to New Bern. She was definitely no nonsense but had a heart for helping others (you might get fussed at while she was feeding you lol). She meant a lot to both of us and will be missed. I loved her so much. She always talked about her grandchildren and her family. She always spoke of how much she loved them and how proud she was of them. I was one of the techs that took care of her and from the moment I met her, she adopted me and I adopted her. We baked for each other and told stories and jokes. She was very loved and will never be forgotten. I feel so honored to have met her. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers.
