His service is 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Oscar's Memorial Chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Ellis Brown, New Bern; two daughters, Danielle Ellis, Havelock and Keisha Ellis, Portsmouth, VA; three brothers, Nathaniel Gaylor, Connecticut; Marvin Sparrow, New Bern and Charles Pollock, Jacksonville; five sisters, Monica Williams, and Vaness McCray both of South Carolina; Brenda Young, Raleigh, Carolyn Cox and Harriet Hattley, both of New Bern; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
