Obituary For Clara Sanders Chapman
Clara Bow Sanders Chapman,95, of New Bern entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
Her Service is 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2026 at UPHC Hwy. 70 E in the Historic James City Community of New Bern.
The Interment will be held at New Bern National Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Chapman, Muchigan and Freddie Lee Chapman, Jr., Georgia; four daughters, Sybil Chapman, Landis Ross (Tyrone), Katrina Obge (Innocent) and Natasha Chapman; her sister, JoAnn Johnson, New York; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was a great school teacher where she touch the hearts and mines of many children in the craven county school sysytem. She will be miss by many in the community and in her church .
