If there are words that can describe Mrs. Hardy -Howard I have not found them. If there are words that can convey the loss I feel I do not know them... but my heart weeps at her passing. When we lost Marlyn she told me " God had plans for us all, we can only cry for our pain but rejoice cause she is with the lord." These word echos in my mind as I think many times we spent talking. Mrs Hardy-Howard was more than just an amazing supervisor. She was that second mother you never knew you had , or that Aunt that would stop in to tell you to get your self together and that she loved you! She was the person you called when things were right or wrong just to catch up. And if you knew Mrs Hardy-Howard , I mean really knew her...she would alway say " I am not an easy pill, but there is a reason that they alway call me to handle things" she wasn't perfect but she was honest and if you called her , no matter what , she would alway come if you needed her. 25 years of having someone who I know I could count on. There are two many stories to rehash , too many to laugh about , so many to remember with loved ones and people that cared about her. I count myself lucky to have been someone she thought of like family. IYKYK R3...best ever!! Rest in peace...

Clementine Hardy-Howard you will be remembered as a person who supported her staff and colleagues and believing in the future of nursing. She helped many nurses achieved their dreams as teacher to many at Medger Evers College. You will be missed. S. Braxton

To Jewel,Michael, Melanie, Baby, and Azaleah my family send their love and our heartfelt condolence. We were grateful to Clementine for all the assistance she provided to our family when my niece died from COVID in April 2020. We met in the mid 90's when I was assigned to her school she was very welcoming and when we discovered that we knew mutual friends in academia we became immediate friends. Several years later she became my Supervisor our friendship never affected our professional relationship. She was very passionate and knowledge about her profession. She also enjoyed teaching and always suggestions and advice to her staff. She was also very talented made beautiful outfits for her grand daughters. She would share all her decorating ideas the matching curtains and bedspread, her paint choices and her outdoor landscaping. We were happy that she was finally able to enjoy her home where she had the time to make all the delicious dishes and pies. We will miss you. Rest in Peace Marva Brown and family.

My sincere love, sympathy, and condolences to the Hardy-Howard family for the loss of a great lady. I recently met Clementine, and we quickly became good friends. We would talk and laugh for hours about life, our children, and life. I encouraged her to support our local Democratic Precinct –Fairfield Harbour Precinct 20. She came to our meeting and quickly endeared herself to the members. We were better because she joined us. I will miss you, my friend.

To the family I met Clementine at Food Lion in BRIDGETON. What a lovely lady, I asked her to come visit our Democratic Precent in Fair Field and she said she had met another member from fair field what a delight to see her at our next meeting. Clemintine was a joy to be in her presence and a straight shooter. I like that in her. We became friends from that day on. I'm am so happy that I met Clementine Hardy- Howard in this life. She was wonderful and inspiring, a lovely woman with character. My heart was heavy when I learned of the passing of our former Nursing Supervisor Hardy-Howard. To know her is to love her. I have many stories about her, but it will take up much space. Some may say she was a bit forward but overall, she was a straight shooter. Her advisement was to build you up and not to break you down or ridicule you in front of others. She was the supervisor that would take up for her nurses. She would listen to our side of the story before going in to battle for us. During our professional development conferences, she always had a story and word of advice for us. Her famous line was, "you have a couple of minutes to panic, but after that, you better have a plan of action". My most memorable time of Ms. Her was during the pandemic. She would say to me, "Don't let them people come into your room and use up your supplies and break your stuff. You better protect your space because you are going to have to work there when they leave." LOL. Then she would come to our site and do timecards on Fridays. She enjoyed our company I believed. One evening, she was finished with the timecards, and she sat with me to the end of my tour on May 22, 2020. I even noted in my journal. On that day, she shared so many stories of her life growing up and her life in the south. She loved to crochet; she could sew; cook and plant. She had the jack of all trades. On retirement, she would send me pictures of her new projects and let me know she was on a cruise. I felt happy that she was enjoying her retirement. Her presence was missed. Today she will be forever missed but her memories live on in talks between her nurses and those who crossed her path. Take your rest peacefully, Nurse Supervisor Hardy-Howard.

I first was introduced to Ms. Clementine when we did CPR training together. She was an intelligent soul, very nice to converse with, and I remember she was proud of her daughter's achievements. My condolences to the family for your loss.

Ms. Hardy-Howard, best supervisor ever! I thank you so much for always being fair. You have given me great advice and have always presented me with opportunities for extra income. I was just laughing with a colleague the other day when I told her about a memory of you. I was in Boston Market's restroom, longer than normal, and when I opened the door, there you were. I said, Hi Ms. Howard, she replied, "Ms. Whyte, I'm watching you", as she jokingly gestured and motioned her 2 fingers from her eyes to mine. May GOD comfort your family at this time. MS Clementine-Hardy was a wonderful nursing supervisor. She was always open, upfront with no pretenses. At the same time she was kind, giving and truly wanted everyone around her to succeed. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
