I am so very sorry for your loss. He was a kind soul and was always so helpful to me and everyone else. Prayers for comfort!!

As a regular visitor to the USPS's Tenth Street Station in Greenville, I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Clint's passing. Like his co-workers in what must be one of the very finest postal stations in the country, he was always cheerful, witty, friendly, and helpful to everyone. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time. He will be missed. Tinsley Yarbrough.

Dear Family, a legacy always remains. The loss of Clint is experienced by so very many people and likewise he is remembered by so many more very many people, for his patience and kind guidance and humor and ease. For at least ten years I have been going to the USPS 10th Street from ECU and I remain grateful Clint was there. May you, the family, find solace in each other in this difficult time.

RIP IN PEACE MY CLASSMATE AND FRIEND YOUR GENTLE SPIRIT WILL BE MISSED.DELPHIA CLARKE

On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, the world lost a wonderful soul. Mr. Clinton Branch was the type of man who quietly made a big impact on your life without you realizing the depths of his presence until he is gone.

No words are strong enough to describe the respect I have for Mr. Clinton Branch. The world will never be the same without him. Our community is a little darker, colder, less colorful, and lacking laughter in his absence. I will miss him.

Remembering his benevolent and thoughtful spirit, he will forever remain in our hearts. A warm hello, a gentle smile, constantly giving a kind word, and always considerate and thoughtful of others - that is the legacy Mr. Clinton leaves behind. He will be missed, but never forgotten. A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven. Rest in Peace Mr. Clinton Branch. USPS Customer- Betty Penny (Greenville, NC)

Clint Branch was without a doubt one of the nicest, funniest and most considerate person I have ever known. Prayers for Mary and family. Rest in peace, Clint. You'll never be forgotten! Friends forever, Arthur Johnston

For many years Clint has been an asset to the United States Postal Services, East Carolina University and to the greater Greenville community. He served as a strong support and a wellspring of knowledge and experience for my department, East Carolina University Mail Services. We were all saddened to hear of the loss of this magnificent individual.

The staff of ECU Mail Services as well as my family would like to extend a warm thank you to Clint for his unwavering support throughout the years. Thank you Clint for your professionalism and strong sense of respect for those around you in an age where good manners are becoming more and more rare by the day. Thank you for every compelling thought, every encouraging word, and for the ceaseless laughter and joy you would inspire. Thank you for your quiet humility and Christ-like persona which made everyone's day just a little brighter.

Looking forward to seeing you again in that land of beginning again where all things will be made new.

Thomas T. Hardy and Family, The Layman's Guidepost Staff at ECU Mail Services

Mary and family, I am so heartbroken to hear of Clint's passing. I agree with everyone's comments about him. I know he will be missed by all of us, but I'm so thankful I can say I knew both of you. Mary when you would come into my shop (bead store in winterville) you always were a bright smile to the day. Clint was the same way when I would walk into the post office. God may have taken him home early, but we will all meet again. Thank you Lord for blessing us with all the years of knowing Clint. Bless your sweet family. Nan Wynne

Mr. Clint always greeted all his customers with a smile and I was fortunate to have been one of those over the past few years at the ECU station post office. I can honestly say his warm smile and pleasant demeanor could make anyones day so much better! Thank you for serving us with such pleasure and hospitality. Our loss but heavens gain. I am so sorry to hear of Clint's passing!! Clint always radiated good healing energy to everyone he helped in his position at the post office. If you were at the end of your rope, and had postal business, you knew you could hang on if Clint was working!! My friend David Ayscue had some rough days. We would go into the Post office together, and David would see Clint, and just start smiling and know his day was going to get better!! They are both in heaven now. I think I can speak for all of Greenville NC, and probably most of the globe since people from all over have lived here and benefited from Clint's blessed spirit: thank you to Clint's family for sharing his bright light with us. We will have to follow his example now!!

I had the honor of working with Clint in Greenville at the P. O. I worked in delivery but encountered Clint on a daily basis. Always a gentleman with such a kind demeanor. His work ethics were exceptional in every aspect. What a miss for everyone who had the honor to know him.

My heart breaks for you all during this time. Clint was such a genuinely sweet person and always had a smile to brighten everyone's day. He was always quick with a joke or jab to make you laugh and I will miss him dearly! The Greenville post office will never be the same without him. He was loved by all of us!!! I pray your memories of him can bring you comfort and peace. Love and condolences, Tina Revels

I have known Clint for several years as I get my mail at the Tenth St. Branch of the USPS in Greenville. This is so unbelievable that I'm speechless. Praying for his family and friends. RIP Mr. Clint you will be missed.

Clint was such a kind man, and always a smile on his face. He always was so sweet when I shipped a package.. I would ask if he could put tape over my addresses, etc. and he would smile and say you always keep me straight! I remember when I was picking up a large box to ship my husbands (RIP) trombone to Atlanta to be refurbished and he said it really doesn't weigh anything. I laughed and said yep they were sending to me to ship later via you folks. He was so kind and carried out to my car. I will miss his smile and kindness as many will. RIP Clint He will be missed by many who he served at ECU 10th street Post office. Condolences to his wife and family and all those wonderful children he fostered.

It has always been a joy to see "Clint" at the post office, with his big smile. You could not help feeling better when he waited on you. He always was so helpful with everything you needed. Clint would usually end up making you smile, or at least have a better outlook when you left, than when you went in. It will be strange not seeing him & hearing him saying " hello BOB". Rest easy my friend, you deserve it. They are smiling in Heaven today. Prayers for the family. BOB MCDONALD, GREENVILLE, NC

My heart is full of fond memories that include smiles and laughter. My husband and I both worked with Clint at the Greenville post office for many years. Clint was one of the exceptional people of the world. He ALWAYS had a smile and encouraging word. I never heard one single complaint come from him. He loved sharing about ALL of his children and it was an honor to be a small part of some of their lives when I shopped for some Christmas presents for them. The world lost a loving kind soul but heaven gained another angel. Peace hugs and comfort to all of his family and friends. Moneen Jones

Ms.Mary I am so sad to hear about my Buddy"s passing, going to work will never be the same again. I will truly miss my friend and the conversations we would have about raising kids in todays society, He would offer some good advice to me and knew my kids by their names and they LOVED Mr. Clint I joked all the time with him about him being out of school longer than I've been alive and in true Clint fashion he would say.."Ah well, somebody had to be around to help raise you and them kids!"...and we would holler and laugh til we both would be in tears!. Im gonna miss my friend and his laugh and silliness. There will never be another you, I thank God for allowing me to be apart of your circle and I ask him to look over your family and keep them uplifted. Love you all, Doris Parker

Sending my deepest condolences to the family and friends. Connie Fornis

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Clint Branch. I worked with him at the United States Postal Service in Greenville NC. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. Heaven surely gained a kind soul in Clint. Rest easy my friend and I will see you again!

Clinton Branch was respected and honored by the customers he served at the USPS in Greenville, NC, adored by his coworkers, and deeply loved by those who worked with him daily at ECU Station. Oftentimes in life you cross paths with persons that you become friends with, but rarely do you inherit a brother in that process. I consider myself blessed to have called Clinton my brother. For more than 27 years I have enjoyed getting up daily to go to work, because I knew that I was going to laugh that day. Clinton was always in a good mood and always willing to put a smile on the faces of others by going the extra mile. The world is a little sadder today, because of the void that has been left behind with his passing. Selfishly we mourn on this side of Heaven, but today Clint is in the presence of his Maker, because to be absent from the body, is to be in the presence of God. Rest well my friend as this is not a goodbye, but I will see your soon. Much love my friend! ❀️
