MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY.. SENDING PRAYERS..THE BURNEY FAMILY
So I tried to ignore it for awhile when I heard the news because I just didn't want to believe iI wouldn't hear one of your clever jokes with the "pun" intended. Then I had to suck it up to be a good friend to Sharea because I can only imagine how she feels. I lost my Father early, so it meant so much to me to grow up around you and witness your great parenting with Sharea and being the best +Father figure to my cousins, my friends and I. We LOVE YOU & Will Keep YOU in OUR HEARTS FOREVER!! đź’•
My condolences to my good friend Thelma Lovick, Ms. Sadie Mae and all of the Lovick family. I am truly sorry for your loss, but remember Dalton will always be in your hearts. Remember the good times and that will surely comfort you. God will give you the strength to go on. May God continue to bless each of you during this time.
Love Lillian R. (Jones) Mackall

To the Family of Dalton, especially His Daughter (Sharea) and Auntie Sadie,
I'm lost for words with this Great Loss, and my prayers goes out to you ALL.
Memories: Sharea, please know that You were and still is the Apple of His Eye and He Cherished being Your Father. I remembered when Dalton introduced you to me and other family members, at a family gathering, and saw how He lite up when introducing you. I understand your pain from loosing a Father, but please know that He is now an angel for you in Heaven; You can always continue to talk to him out loud, which helped me tremendously. GOD will comfort you and I'm hear if you need me.
My Dear Cousin Dalton, one of my favorites'.... You were an amazing person who Loved Life. I will miss you!!! I will miss our conversations, our texting at times and checking in on each other !!! I had no idea that 5/29/20 was going to be our latest conversation. You were planning to come up and hang out with me one weekend, so then we were going to visit Aunt Lillie in Baltimore. Cuz, you are now in the LOVING ARMS of GOD and You can now see Aunt Lillie, My Dad and more family members. I remember you talking about getting your deck done, so I asked you what contractor is going to do it, so you stated, "I'm Uncle Swindell's Nephew and I will be doing it, that's what we do." We laughed soooooooooooo hard and I'm going to miss that closeness that we had.... I will hold onto the memories and never forget you.
Rest in Peace CUZN !!!
Blessed be GOD, even the Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the Father of mercies, and the GOD of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation.
Sincerely With Deep Sympathy, Stephanie (aka-Stepp) & Family
Stay encouraged. Dalton Lovick was a good father to our 3 girls, Sharea, Jasmine, and Jamilah. He always showed his love ❤️ and care by the way he interacted with you. He was not bias in showing care to all in his own way exemplifying love in action. Let us all remember his example to be genuine and true. Speak the truth in love and be willing to put it in action.
My dad was a selfless man that love me, his family and church family. He was so helpful to everyone and wore that smile that can light up a room. I will truly miss my daddy, but the love and all those beautiful memories is what I am going to hold on to. Love your Daughter Sharea Carmen

My brother, was a man who love unconditionally, he loved his family, he never said know, unless he couldn't do it, we always called on Dalton for putting people up, and you woke to a fully cooked breakfast. DALTON'S MOTEL, he was so funny. Sometimes you would be laughing so hard you were about to wet your pants. But not even laughing at the joke, I would be laughing at him laughing so hard at his on jokes. He gave wise information, and encouragement about life. He did all he could to help to brings everyone else a smile, and happiness, and he loved, his daughter Annette with all his heart, and would do anything for her, he loved cooking and making his barque, skating, and riding bikes. Dalton was very dedicated in helping people. He drove many people around who didn't have a car.He did this all the time until his health fail.Sometimes he would dive hundreds of miles to accommodate individuals. He was a true meaning of love and helping thy neighbors.
