My prayers and condolences go out to the family. Del was one of a kind. She was a classy, spunky lady, I would sometimes refer to her as the "silver fox". I am going to miss talking to you in the back yard and walking through your front door on New Year's Day!!! Wish we all could've gotten together for the backyard fish fry and hush puppies that we were always talking about. I find solace that God knows best and you are resting in his arms. Until we meet again my friend.
Your neighbor, Dion Stith
Delphine was a beacon of life, love, and a very wonderful Host to be in the moment with! She was go to friend, when I need someone to Talk to with a great heart, and always have kind word to share! In the short time I got to know her she really new how to bring friends and family together with good vibes and in hosting a party. Now if you cross her she have no problem putting you in check! I miss her already, Love you Delphine always and forever in my ❤️ DARRYL
Please accept our deepest condolences. Ms. Delphine wasn't just my neighbor, she was family. Whenever I would go out for my evening walk through the neighborhood, I would always see Ms. Del working in her yard. I found out she was from North Carolina and we would talk for hours at a time. She loved my southern cooking especially my banana pudding! I remember the last time we talked was on Father's Day. I made a banana pudding for my pops for Father's Day and I made a bowl for Ms. Del. I started to send my son down to her house to drop it off, but I thought to myself "I haven't seen Ms Del in a while." We often talked by phone the past few months. I am so glad I decided to go myself. We talked, laughed and hugged and I am going to cherish our last moments together forever. That corner will never be the same!! Rest in peace my dear friend🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️ Timothy & Tajuana Smith, Glenn Dale, MD
