Growing up while riding with my mother Veronica Hardesty Frazier, she would always pick Dennis up and give him a ride. She and Dennis would laugh about old memories of Harlowe back when my Great Aunt Della and my Great Grandma Lena ran The Café and clubbing days at Mixers. My mother raised me to be kind to people especially those some looked down upon. When I started driving Dennis could count on a ride from me. He would share memories of my Uncle Alan Frazier and my father Barry Frazier Sr. He always had kind words to say about everyone. Dennis will be missed. So grateful to have been able to show him kindness. I offer my deepest condolences to the family and close friends of a good soul. May He rest in peace.

To: The brothers, sisters and extended family of Dennis.

I pray that the God of comfort and strength be with you all during this difficult time.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend Dennis. He and I share the same birthday. I called him my birthday twin. I will always remember his genuine smile. Dennis will live on in my heart forever.

My sincere condolences to the Jarman family. I use to see Dennis and pick him up whenever he was going or coming from Havelock. He always told me that he missed those old days in school and watching me play football. We would laugh about some things from back then and say, I'll never forget our school days. May Jesus Christ comfort the family always.

This hit hard, but I know he is no longer suffering. All the rummy/pity pat games with grandma, birthday dinners, holidays, rides out of town, just going to visit people, going to Peppers in Greenville and all the Havelock High School Rams football/basketball games. He painted my grandmother's trailer blue for her and ended up getting fussed out for something else he did and said he would never do again. Dennis would give you the shirt off his back. He would call every day to see how I was doing amongst others, what my plans were for later that day, if there were any games on tv that night, if we were going to go to any games? He was at my house one time rubbing my son's (black and white) dog Nalla and my sister came up with her dog Meech and he is much bigger (all black) and he just swopped places with the other dog and somehow, Dennis just kept rubbing while talking to me, never noticed the switch until he finally looked over and saw a giant all black head looking at him. He said he was so scared that he just didn't know what to do but keep rubbing. I have been listening to the songs he liked when he would ride with me patrolling on the weekends; Trouble Don't Last Always", "Jesus Is My Rock", "All Night", "I Won't Complain", "Still Here" and "You Know My Name". I'm going to miss those calls my friend, he would act like my dad stomping his feet back in the day and wow his contagious laughter. Thank you to everyone that has always looked out for him no matter if it was giving him a ride, sitting and having dinner with him in town or just having a conversation. I love and will miss you always Dennis. My condolences to his family and friends; Dennis is a special one that no one can never deny. He was always a gentle giant walking amongst us. We can all do better, let's start right now.
