Dennis Stokes,71, of Pamlico County, North Carolina was called to rest Sunday, May 24, 2026.
His Service is 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Alliance Chapel AME Zion Church 333 West Lane, Grantsboro, NC.
The Interment will follow at St. Mark FWB Church Cemetery, Florence Community.
He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Moore Stokes of the home; mother, Bertha Gilliam, Pamlico; four daughters, Kimberly Mozelle, Mesic, NC, Autraya Smith, New Bern, Karesha Beasley and Tina Stokes of Pamlico County; two brothers Reginald Gilliam and Keith Gilliam of the Pamlico Community, of Pamlico County, NC; two sisters, Jody Sampson and Veronica both of New Bern; eleven grandchildren.
