The news of my "Good Brother's" passing brought a sadness to my heart and I heard similar pain in the voices of others whom I had to share this news. But God, as we all reflected on our own sweet memories of Donnie Boy, sadness was immediately replaced by "Joy"! This joy, of course, was not due to his passing but rather due to his living! For me, he was serious about being a good friend and vice-versa. He referred to Beverly as his little sister and as such, he jokingly held me accountable for protecting her. I thank him for sharing and caring for my family as I did for his and will continue to do so. Thanks again, My Heavenly Brother for sharing your spirit of laughter with us all who were lucky enough to be in your presence.
