She is survived by her mother, Katrina Nixon and step father, Rodney Nixon, New Bern; one son, Michael Keith and one daughter, Tahyree Griffin; seven sisters, Latorreia Dixon, Michelele Edwards, Fatima Ambrose, Fatisha Ambrose, Rylisha Ambrose, DonNisha Ambrose and Aleecya Benton; Maternal grandmother, Matilda Brown, New Bern.
