Obituary For Edna Mae Respers
Edna Mae Respers,84, a native of Pamlico County died Friday, August 22, 2025 at Carolina East Medical Center.
Her Service is 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 31, 2025 at St. Peter's Missionary Baptist Church, Vandemere. Burial will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Jones, New Bern and Rene Respers, Vandemere; two brothers, Reverend Billy Respers (Joyce) New Bern and Ray Respers (Virgina), Reelsboro; three sisters, Delores Respers, Raleigh, NC, Lorraine Lewis, Vandemere, Estha Nobles, Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Ms. Edna was a tuff cookie 🍪 my first time meeting her was back in 2005 when I got hired the DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE! Ms Enda had to train me to do the job! Please 🙏🏽 know she trained me well she didn't play about getting the job done and doing it right! I now have good memories of that my condolences 💐 to her entire family!!!
