I just learned of Elaine's passing and am totally shocked. I followed her on facebook and loved her spiritual postings.
Ironically this morning after I liked a post I scrolled up to see that it was hers. It was not but I had no clue she had passed.
Condolences! ππ½ππ½ Deborah McCrae
Family you are all in my thoughts and prayers
Elaine and I had the pleasure of working together for many years, and even after our professional paths diverged, we stayed in close contact. I truly cherished our catch-ups, the laughter we shared, and the time we spent 'putting the world to rights.' Those moments will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest peacefully, Elaine."
Goodbye's are not the end... They simply mean I'll miss you until we laugh again. Rest in heaven's glory!!Job well done cousin. Carolyn Edwards Anderson and family
My heart felt sympathy goes to the Edwards, Mann and Mt. Zion families. "Bernie" and I grew up at Westwood Baptist Church and were very active in the youth group and junior choir together. Although we were not communicating everyday, I knew she loved me and I definitely loved her. I have so many fond memories that I will cherish forever. I know God has gained an Angel. Until we meet again "Bernie".β€οΈποΈππΎ Wend Bozeman & Family

Until recently, she hardly ever missed a DANCE Class at the Edison Johnson Rec Center. We are truly gonna miss Elaine in that FRONT ROW moving and grooving and saying "ONE MORE Time" as is often said when learning a Dance for the first time. Dance in HEAVEN Sweet Lady.

WOW,this one hits hard. My my beautiful sweet cousin. It is still very hard to even say the words but yet it is a reality. Each time you would come and visit your Louisiana family was always a time of joy and laughter. Your light always shined so bright and even at our young ages then you were always the one with the voice of wisdom. No matter how much time would pass before your return or our next conversation it was always as if you had never been away. I will miss out text messages and our long late night conversations but I will always cherish them. Aunt Mel, cousin Sonja and cousin Mark, l will continue to pray that you all soon find the peace you need.Sleep on my sweet cousin. Loving you always, your cousin Sheilaπ
I express my deepest sympathy and condolences to Elaine family, this has been really a shock. I met Elaine at a line dance class she was coming to recruit an instructor for Girlfriends Weekend in 2019. We just started talking and trying to figure out how we new each other already cuz we just seemed so familiar she always teased me and said I never met a stranger but truly that was her from them we just became close during the past few years I am so honored to have had her in my life I just relocated but we was hanging out almost every weekend doing what girlfriends do Girlfriend Haven was her baby and it definitely showed her personality of being a sister to us. I will miss you my friend. Till we meet again save a cup of coffee for me
I am so in shock over our sweet friend, Elaine! I have cried many tears for her and her family. I met Elaine through work and she became a true friend!! I absolutely thought the world of her and had just made some plans before the holidays. I can say to her family, she loved you all soooo much! She loved her friends as well. She was a real firecracker and that made us all love her even more!! She always had a smile and could always make me laugh. She was beautiful inside and out!! She loved her Lord and she lived her life to honor Him. Rest easy my sweet friend, I know you are at peace. Your work in this world was done and I look forward to our conversations again! I know we will meet again! Much love to her family. I am in prayer for your comfort and peace. Elaine was a shining light and she will not be forgotten!! Love in Christ, Jennifer Vineyard
This is still so shocking to me. Elaine and I became friends several years ago after meeting during one of her "Girlfriends Weekend". Peacefully journey my friend.
Words seem so little right now. It is however our only way to say what we feel. What I feel is hurt but joy. Joy because I know you are OK. God help those of us that are left behind.Give strength to your family. You were such a great sister, aunt daughter and child of the king. May the work you have done remain and speak volumes when we recall"Bernie".
This is hard for me because Elaine "Bernadette" Edwards and I were very close growing up. Whenever she spent time here with her grandparents, cousin Harold and Elaine Driggers. Even though I am a little older than she, we played together and enjoyed each other's company. As we grew older, we continued to communicate. I'm sorry that she has passed because our communication has ended. I will always cherish the memories we shared. I'm happy to know that she's at rest from all her labor and is in Heaven, where we're living to live again with Jesus and our families. Family, I'm praying God's Love and Peace will comfort and strengthen you during this difficult time. Bernadette, I will always cherish my memories of you. Ruth Jones Ligon ππ½β€οΈππ½

I was shocked to hear that Bernadette passed. I was lucky enough to also work with her mom and sister and my thoughts and prayers are with them and her entire family. I will always remember the good times I had with Bern at work. She constantly made me laugh and was always willing to share a smile. She will be missed.
I was stunned to learn that Elaine had passed. I know she is with dear family members who have gone before her, but I'm still sad that she is gone too soon. I miss you Elaine, but enjoy the heavenly celebration. Until we meet again.....
Elaine was my co/worker and best friend . We spent a lot of time together laughing , venting and going out when we could. She was the one person I could trust with anything and I would have helped her anyway I could if she needed it and vice versa. I would even say we were like sisters . She always spoke about her loving family, cousins and friends , so I feel I know you all as well. She loved you all so much. I knew she loved me as well because she gave me her time and was such a good friend and confidant . I miss her dearly and I will never forget her smile, she was such a beautiful lady inside and out. Rip my dear friend we will meet again .
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
