Emma Mizella Pickett, 81, a native of Morehead City, NC died Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Croatan Nursing Center, Newport.
Her service is Noon, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 208 N 13th St. Morehead City. The interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, John Pickett and wife, Tifanie of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Delores Adams, New Bern and Martha Mills, Newport.
Masks are required and social distancing followed.

John, You, Tiffany and your family Morehead have done an amazing job taking care of your mom. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to visit her in Morehead, she was so happy to show her Newburgh family to her family. God makes know mistake by joining our families together. She is the last of 210 North Miller Street. May they all rest in peace🙏❤️

Ms. Emma was such a sweet lady. Her friends and I at Camellia Court will miss her greatly. Lord, please be with Emma's family and friends as they remember the impact that she had on their lives. Thank You for her sweet smile and kindnesses that she showed others even when she wasn't feeling good. Please comfort and bring peace that only You can bring. Give all who love her wisdom and discernment in the coming days and bunches of hugs as they need them ♪
