Ernest Lee Cox, 69 passed at CarolinaEast Medical Center, New Bern, NC.

Viewing hours are 9:30 AM to 5:300 PM Tuesday at Oscar's Mortuary.

His service is 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Alum Spring Church of Christ DOC Church 11085 NC 55, Dover. The interment will follow at Alum Spring Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Nathan Cox, of New Bern; daughter, Mary Howard of Mint Hill, NC; brothers, Clarence Cox, Dover and Ronnie Cox, of Kinston, Gregory Koonce and Mark Koonce both of New York, NY; sisters, Vivian Dudley, Vanceboro and Adriane Cox, Dover, Sharon Koonce, Patricia Koonce and Lori Koonce all of New York, NY; eight grandchildren.
