Geneva L. Fisher Murray,78, a native of New Bern, NC passed March 27, 2026 at her home in Oviedo, FL.
Her service is 11:00 AM, April 2, 2026 at New Covenant Baptist Church of Orlando, FL.
She is survived by her children, Audra (Michael) Turner, Charles (Sherita) Murray Jr.; sister, Anne Smith; brothers, Dexter (Diane) Fisher, Anthony Fisher; four grandchildren.

I saddened to hear of the transition of Geneva. We were classmates at J. T. Barber H.S. New Bern, N. C. She will be remembered by her smile, her kind spirit, and her intelligence. My Prayers are with the family. M. Knight (Class of 1965)

We, here in Vandemere, NC, were saddened to hear of the passing of Geneva. Before her family moved to New Bern, she spent many of her formative years in Vandemere at her grandparents' home. "Ginny" as we called her was a smart young girl with a vibrant, fun- loving personality. She loved to dance, and she danced well. It was always delightful to see her when she returned home to visit. She had become a savvy woman with wisdom that only time and experience could teach her. To the family we extend our deepest sympathies. Rest in peace, Ginny.
