George Fernie Godette Jr. was called to rest on August 27, 2025.
His Service is at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 1, 2025 at the Craven Corner Missionary Baptist Church, 1050 Adams Creek Road, Havelock, NC.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Godette; daughters, Judie Godette, Melody Godette, Lanita Godette, Marquita Godette; sons, Kelly Godette, McKel Godette, Dalton Godette, Jeremiah Godette; children of the heart, Janel Smith, Eric Rigney, David Rigney; sisters, Doris Norris and Sue Kelsey, twenty-three grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; seven grandchildren of the heart and five great-grandchildren of the heart.
Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of profound loss of a father and grandfather. His presence and influence will surely be missed by all who knew him. Drea, I hope you find comfort in the memories you shared with your grandfather.
