I have been friends with Bo for over 60 years and worked with him at the base. I thought of him as my brother. So sorry for your loss. He will be truly missed. We thought a lot of Bo and truly loved him. Our condolences to his family James and Lori Adams

I worked with Bo for many years at Cherry Pt. I was a young engineer in 1975 and didn't know squat about machining. Bo was kind enough to answer all of my questions and took the time to show me the ropes. All the while it was a fun and entertaining experience working with him. A treasure of a man. My condolences to the family.

We are very saddened to today to learn about Bo's passing. We knew him since our earliest days in the tobacco fields and fruit fields in the community. Like you we too will miss his presence and laughter. May he rest in peace as he awaits his resurrection from death. May God's love and mercy continue comforting all of us.

I saw no time for a service, so if I cannot make it I will leave a message here. My name is Phil LeBeau. I was a supervisor with Bo in the machine shop for above t 15 years. I was a new supervisor and Bo took me under his wing. He taught me and looked out for me that entire time. I was a better supervisor because of him, but more importantly I am a better man because of him. Anyone can read a book on supervising, but he taught me how to read, lead and protect your people. He was a master at all three. When he retired I cried that he was leaving me. Today my heart cries because he has left us. Many people probably commented over the years about how large he was, but most did not truly know how large. Larger than life. A large heart, a large spirit and when he was taking care of others a large lion. I have so many stories, examples of that. I have and will continue to share those memories with my family, as I am sure you will. May God bless and guide his family and friends through this loss.
