Some time last week, the order went out to tune up the choir and strike up the band, because another soldier was coming home. On Thursday, December 04, my friend, sister and colleague, shed her "earth suit" and left for that eternal home where she belongs. Her love and gentle spirit will forever live in me as long as our Heavenly Father has work for me to do here on earth. We are family.

Our families were united. Bishop Moore always greeted me with a warm hug, smile and a kindness that never wavered. Her friendship, gentle spirit and genuine personality remained constant over the years—a true reflection of the wonderful Woman of God she was. You will be missed. RIP!

I am praying for you, family. I will miss 'G' as I called her and she called me Lady Di. She would call to check on me saying 'I just needed to hear your voice.' Such a wonderful and precious woman of God. I will miss her.

I worked and met Geraldine at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston NC. She became a good friend and coworker. I am sorry to hear of her transition. My condolences to the family. To know her was to love her. A great spirit has gone to be with the Lord.
