Service arrangements are pending at Oscar's Memorial Chapel. The Interment will follow at the White Cemetery Jasper Community.
He is survived by his children, Clayton Brown and Blanie Hargett, Brooklyn, NY, Phillis Hargett, Lisa Blake, Leah Hargett sister, Ida Hargett Whitehead of Cove City; brother, Freddie Lee Hargett, Greensboro, George Hargett, Trenton, NC, Grover Hargett, New Bern and McNeal Hargett, Vanceboro; several grand and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
