Glennie Matthews Wright, 85 passed at Friday, June 27, 2025 at Presbyterian Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.
Family visitation is 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM , Tuesdaym July 8, 2025 at Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church 1015 Church St., New Bern.
Her Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 PM at Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church.
Glennie is survived by her children, Belinda Moore (Tony) Charlotte, NC, Carla Lawrence (Thurman) RI., Anthony Matthews (Cathy) PA., Robin Matthews (Wendy) York, PA, Jeffrey Matthews, New Bern, NC; siblings, Joe Lewis Matthews (Theresa) New Bern, NC, and Mary Matthews, Queens, NY; twenty two grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
